Excursions and Camping Programs

Students at Mudgeeraba are able to experience and benefit from a variety of school visitors and excursions.  The experiences selected support teaching and learning programs for a particular year level and enrich and enhance that program in order to meet identified learning outcomes.

Over 8 years of education at Mudgeeraba students will experience excursions to such venues as: Seaworld, Parliament House, Fleay's Fauna Sanctuary, Tallebudgera Beach School, Brisbane Planetarium, Brisbane Museum and Science Centre, Jacob's Well Environmental Centre, Gold Coast Historical Museum, Ashmore Bicycle Safety Centre.

Students in our senior school are provided with opportunities to participate in 3 and 4 day camping programs at Lake Ainsworth (Year 7), Tallebudgera Camp School (Year 6) and Camp Goodenough (Year 5). While on these camps students test their skills in sailing, rock climbing, surf awareness, body boarding, fishing, snorkelling, high ropes courses, team sports, archery and toboganning.
