We like to take the opportunity to celebrate birthdays as they come up during the year. Please feel free to send along a cake so that we can join in the celebration.

Commonwealth Bank - Student Banking

Commonwealth Bank ‘Student Banking’ is a service offered to students of Mudgeeraba State School. We encourage young savers to make deposits into their Youthsaver accounts, whether it’s a few cents or some birthday money - every little bit helps.  Students are asked to deliver their bank books to the Administration Office before 9.30am on Fridays.

Early Departures

Occasionally, it will be necessary for your child to leave school before 3.00pm. Parents should notify the school office in person. Parents will be asked to fill in the Student Sign-Out book and will then be handed an ‘Early Departure’ slip.  Parents should then go to their child’s class and hand the Early Departure’ slip to their child’s teacher.

Illness

School is not the place to be if you are feeling ill, so please keep your child at home and advise us of their absence.  If the illness is contagious, please let us know. It is greatly appreciated when parents take the time to either write a note to the class teacher or phone the school office regarding student absences.
